Jordana of Alma Heirlooms specializes in birth and family documentary style photographs & films — serving Nashville, Middle Tennessee and beyond. With a passion for storytelling, nothing brings her more joy than getting to capture raw, honest and beautiful moments for families. Whether birthing new life or just spending a morning around the house with your children, Jordana hopes to create memories that move you and bring you right back to that very moment. May they be heirlooms that are cherished for years and years to come.

Jordana (who likes to go by Jordie) lives in Nashville with her graphic designer husband, Trent. She has such a heart for families and can’t wait to be a mama herself one day. A few of her favorite things are: creating her own recipes on a whim, spending time with family and friends, good music, matcha lattes, hosting relaxing dinners, her church community, trying new restaurants in the city and vases filled with fresh flowers.

Kind words —

“Jordie began capturing our family on film and video in the fall of 2017, and I have called her our “memory keeper” ever since. She shot a maternity & newborn session for us, and filmed the birth of our second daughter, Addie. Every time Jordie shoots our family, I am amazed at how great she is with our girls, how easy she is to work with, and how perfectly she captures our life right now. She truly has a gift for entering the chaos that is our every day life and capturing the most beautiful and authentic moments. When she filmed our birth, she never made her presence felt in the room, but was able to preserve every special detail of the day for us on video. I often find myself in tears looking back through our family pictures and watching our birth film - they are truly priceless and I am eternally grateful for the gift that Jordie has given us by capturing them” — Rachel, mama to Eveline & Addie

“As a photographer, I understand the importance of preserving moments for couples and families - this video (and the photos we received) do just that. They help us remember. Jordie is someone so special; her presence is peaceful, and her talent is abundant. I’m so thankful that she preserved this perfect time in our life: our first house, which we will soon move out of and our sweet baby that is growing too quickly. This time won’t soon be forgotten, and I can’t put into words how thankful we are for it” — Lauren, mama to Grace Marie
